This morning at seven, the thermometer on the side of my shed reads 60℉!! The Bay News 9 weatherman tells us this is the coldest weather we have had since last spring. All I can say is "Hooray". It was time to have a little break from the heat and humidity. Who knows? I might even get some work done around here--can't use the hot weather as an excuse today.
That's gotta feel cold to you "thin-bloods" down there! We've had a beautiful week and the leaves are really starting to change. This is when the mountains are at their best!
ReplyDeleteThat was the early morning temperature. Actually, it felt pretty good! I was thinking about the leaves up there today--Anna and I were over at the sheriff's thrift store looking around, and I saw a book about the Smokey Mountains.
